Berlin is an amazing city, so much history crammed into such a small area..Most of it is so recent its hard not to feel a little uneasy. We managed to jam about 10 years of study into our 3 days there. To be honest we didn't even really scratch the surface.

a few months back, Jack, Sarah and myself hopped in a car and headed to the far northern parts of the country to shoot parts for my short "dagdraumar".
As with anything, I would have loved to have spent more time on it. Saying that however, having shot everything in just under a day and pulling the edit together in little over a week, I was pretty chuffed at how it tuned out.
Massive massive props to Jack, so stoked to have had him on board, also to Mickey for the UH-mazin tune and the loan of his gear and to Mitch for the use of some radical footage! Legends brothers!! Woooooiiiiiii

Icelandic birthday...

Mid way through last October, I was lucky enough to be invited along on a search for waves on the land that is Iceland with the Zion lads. Although we didn't score, I still regard it as the best trip I've been on, such an amazing place. I can't wait to one day return. Massive props to Conor for putting us up and putting up with our sheet while we were there. Legend!!
Exactly this time last year we were recovering from a rather large night out in Reykjavik for Madsquids birthday.
So in honor of the squids bday, and the land of Ice I thought I post a few leftovers that never got sent off.

Right now Australian cattle are being maimed and tortured before suffering the most painful deaths that the animal welfare movement has ever seen.

What's more, this callous slaughter is carried out in facilities that use equipment paid for by Australian taxpayers and inspected by Australian authorities.

Tomorrow officials are presenting a petition at Parliament House in a press conference with the RSPCA, Animals Australia, and the Australasian Meat Industry Employers Union (AMIEU). The urgent petition calls on Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Agriculture Minister Joe Ludwig to end the cruel practice of live cattle export.

I originally had no intention of having anything to do with recent royal wedding.
I then realised I was in London and no matter what I did I was going to be surrounded by Union Jacks and hords of excitable people... I also thought I can't spend all of my days hating on everything...
I'm a firm believer that if you are going to partake in such events you may as well go the whole hog!
The old "when in rome" came into play, the overnight camping plan was in action and soon enough we found ourselves packed up with enough booze to leather a small village, and bound for a night on The Mall. (the road running directly out from the Palace).
After a night and morning of violently holding our position, along the fence line, the whose who of royalty raced passed and down to the Abbey, a tad weary we decided to retreat from the front line and spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the remainder of our drinks in the park.

Monarchy.... is it necessary? Probably not.. But none the less it was a rad way to spend a booze full day..

I've been a tad lazy of late when it comes to the old bloogle... I'm going to try and be a bit more pro active from now on and get it back up to speed !

I have recently re located to the smog and bright lights of London, Last week moving into a quaint little studio apartment with the lovely Sarah.
However, I have now been over here for the last almost 2months, Living with the guys in the Brixton pad. Its been amazing, I have had such a fun few weeks.

A big thanks to Cam, Bree, Jimmy, Andrea and the rest of the gang for housing me, it is going to be sad when we have to say goodbye to half of them in the coming weeks. Until then, we shall make the most of the time we have and continue reveling through to the dawn of the ever approaching day in this new chapter.

I was lucky enough to meet up with good friends Dean & Tenille in Munich for a few days last week, the pair are on their honey moon travelling all over europe for the next few weeks. It was wicked catching up with them. Dean and I managed to sneak in a couple of sessions at the river wave in the middle of the city, it was such a surreal experience surfing there, being dwarfed by buildings and surrounded by curious onlookers cheering folk on. The remainder of my time there we spent the majority of the days wandering around the parks and indulging in steins of beer and huge pretzels. Cant wait to head back there sometime soon, hope you guys are having a ball where ever it is you are now!

Deano & Tenille tie the knot!

I made the sneaky journey back to oz a few weeks back for close friends of mine, Dean & Tenille's big day. They're two of the nicest kids I know and Im super happy for them both. The ceremony took place early afternoon at Norah Head lighthouse, Deano not looking one bit nervous letting out the biggest hoot as Tenille walked down the aisle. The weather was idyllic, crystal blue skies that led into a long and beautiful dusk that shone on hours into the evening. Everyone moved onto the North Entrance surf club for the rest of the evening proceedings where the night went down in true wedding style laughter, dancing and good old fashion boozing! Deano later whisked Tenille up and drove her down to a secluded beach where a cleverly crafted hut made by the groomsmen awaited there first night as a married couple..
Big thanks to Dean and Tenille for putting on such a UH-mazing day, I wish you both nothing but a life full of happiness!

This time 10 years ago, Grant and I had just returned from our maiden voyage to Hawaii, Grant is one of the nicest, ,most humble guys I know, he never has a bad word to say about anyone and is one of the most talented cats out there, whether it be in the sea, behind the lens, or spilling ink!

Just recently he finished up shooting a new music video for Israel Cannan and the final cut is looking frickern RAD! make sure you keep an eye peeled for it..
